Listening to Putney, Roehampton and Southfields
Housing is a crucial issue across Putney, Roehampton and Southfields. Whether it’s access to affordable rented accommodation or the difficulties of getting on the housing ladder to own your own home, I want to hear about your experiences and views.
Locally, I often work with residents to help with their housing-related issues. Sometimes people raise concerns about the standard of homes, rights for residents, or there may be concerns about the level and lack of transparency about charges from managing agents. In Parliament, I have worked with Lord John Bird, the founder of the Big Issue which helps support homeless people. We are taking the Creditworthiness Assessment Bill through Parliament which aims to change the law to help up to 15 million renters get a better credit score and access to more affordable credit.
This survey is to help me make sure I am working on your priorities and issues around renting in Putney. If you could take just a few minutes to share your views with me it will help me shape the best possible future for our area.
