I have written to the Police Minister Nick Hurd to clarify what the police are able to do in relation to moped crime following a meeting with local residents and the Borough Commander of the Metropolitan Police.
I wanted to provide an update on the European Union Withdrawal Bill which passed its second reading in the House of Commons this month. The overall purpose of the Bill is to make sure we don’t have any legal “holes” when we leave the EU.
I have received regular complaints about flytipping, abandoned vehicles and car break-ins in the road. In turn, this sort of anti-social behaviour often attracts further incidents of potentially more serious criminal activity.
I wanted to provide an update on the terrorist attack that occurred on our branch of the District Line at Parson’s Green station this morning as I know many local residents use the District Line and may have been caught up in the incident.
If you live or park on or near Wildcroft Road, I want to hear your views following an increase in complaints about anti-social behaviour in the area. I've been out delivering this letter over the last few days and hopefully you have received one already.
I wanted to share with you all the latest update letter on the Post Office in Southfields, which I was out delivering in Southfields this weekend. I am in regular contact with the Post Office and will be in touch with residents again when there are any further developments.
This week I joined Tideway and local residents to formally open the temporary slipway for the Tideway Tunnel project along Putney foreshore. Access to the river is a vital part of the community in Putney and I am really pleased to see the new slipway open in time for the summer.
