The Government has now launched its public consultation on expanding Heathrow Airport. Justine is urging all local residents to make sure they respond to the 3 month government consultation on expanding Heathrow and join her No to Heathrow Expansion campaign by signing up in the form below.

The Government is proposing a massive expansion of Heathrow including a third runway and a sixth terminal with all day flights over the Putney area. Currently, ‘runway alternation’ means that there is a break from planes for half the day, but that would be taken away under the proposed expansion plans. We could end up with noisy aircraft overhead all day, every day. A third runway will also mean we will see a vast increase in the number of flights taking place with a flight path that could pass over Southfields. As a fellow local resident living under the flight path, Justine believes this would be a disaster for our local environment and our quality of life. More flights also mean more CO2 emissions.

As your local MP Justine is determined to make sure that the voice of Putney, Roehampton and Southfields residents is heard loud and clear but she needs your help to do that as effectively as possible.
